Charlie Antaya (Bass Guitar/Vocals):

Originally a native of Springfield, MA, I currently make my home with my wife of over 25 years in Windsor Locks, CT.  I am the father of 3, grandfather, (Papa) of 4.  I began playing electric bass guitar since 1970 in various genres ranging from oldies rock, blues, R&B, to classic and contemporary country, to Modern Hard Rock.   Some projects of note over the course of my career include Arabus in the late 70’s (rock covers), Night Hawk through the mid-80’s (touring show-band on the hotel circuit up/down the coast from Connecticut to Georgia), I spent the 90’s doing country music with Bob Cox, High County and Rodeo alongside Quintera drummer/bandmate Jason Spencer, before finally hooking up with Quintera in 2000.

It has been my good fortune to become a part of the Quintera family personally and professionally.   Having the time of my life laying down the low-end thunder with these guys night after night is the icing on the cake!   I look forward to a rocking future for Quintera.   Check out the show, see you down the road!

My musical influences include James Jamerson, Mel Schacher, John Entwhistle. Tim Commerford.
